Abigail Kirsten has joined RMC Architects (RMC) as a Design Professional. She received a Master of Architecture from Washington State University this year and Bachelor of Arts degrees in both art and mathematics from Gonzaga University in 2020. Abigail has been interested in architecture since she was ten years old and combines her three degrees to create a trifecta of skills for working in the built environment.
Abigail was drawn to RMC because of the firm’s focus on multifamily housing and healthcare projects. She is currently working on Millworks Phase II multifamily housing, City of Bellingham Public Works Phase II, and St. Paul’s Old Parish Hall renovation.
Olivia (Liv) Pike has joined RMC Architects (RMC) as a Human Resources/Payroll Coordinator. Liv graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2020 earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, while minoring in Management. After receiving her degree, she began working with a small accounting firm and realized she enjoyed the detail-oriented structure of working with numbers.
Liv believes that architecture fosters community bonds and builds capital by creating spaces for social, cultural, and recreational gathering. She is excited to contribute to a firm like RMC that supports this mission, along with a healthy work/life balance. Liv will handle payroll processing for the firm and provide human resources support for RMC staff.
